Israel closes Palestinian rights groups it labeled terrorist

Triwer – Ramallah in the West Bank According to the organizations, Israel stormed the offices of many Palestinian advocacy groups that it had previously labeled as terrorist organizations, locking the doors to the offices and posting signs stating that they were closed.

Some of these organizations have refuted Israeli claims that they are affiliated with the violent Palestinian Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

Rights advocates have characterized Israel's actions against the organizations as being a part of a long-running campaign against political activists in the occupied territories.

The majority of the organizations under attack provide documentation of alleged human rights abuses committed by both the Palestinian Authority and Israel, both of which frequently jail Palestinian activists.
